My camp name is Llew and I will be the Program Director this summer! I am really looking forward to this new adventure can't wait to make so many great memories for and with our campers. I have been a member of the Camp Douglas community since I was eight years old, making this my 13th year attending camp and my 4th year on staff. My favourite part of camp, other than the incredible friends I have made over the years, has always been the waterfront. I have always loved polar dips in the morning, kayaking on Tuesdays and playing on the raft. I am so grateful to be coming back for another year and can't wait for all the joy and laughter found at Camp Douglas and on the waterfront.

"Sandy"

Hi! I’m Sandy and I will be the Program Assistant this summer! I have come to Camp Douglas for many years and it has truly become my home away from home. I am beyond excited to be up this summer and can’t wait to see all the new and familiar faces. Camp Douglas has something for everybody, from forest games to crab hunting to evening camp fires accompanied by silly songs! Some of my personal favourite activities are swimming and playing Bigger Better Best! Can’t wait to see what God has in store for this summer! 

First Aid
"Jitters"
Hey there! I’m Jitters and I am so excited to be the First Aid Attendant this summer at Camp Douglas! I’ve been camp staff since 2017 and can’t wait to spend another summer serving at camp. I’ll be there to help with scrapes, upset tummies, homesickness, etc., and you will probably see me around in lots of activities. I just finished my BA in Child and Youth Care and in the fall I will start UBC’s teacher education program, so clearly I have a big passion for working with kids. At camp some of my favourite activities are campfire, monk’s meal (I dare you to try and make me laugh), free swim, and bracelet making. Looking forward to a great summer!

 My Camp Name is Winnie, and I will be Head Cook this summer! My favorite part about camp has always been the people. When I was a camper or a volunteer, everyone grew together as a family, especially in their faith in God. I’m looking forward to being able to serve in one of the ways I know how … cooking. I can’t wait to see what is in store for this summer!

Hi guys! I am Rowdy from Camp Douglas. I can’t wait to meet all of you this summer, even though I will be working in the kitchen. I will make sure to prepare your meals each day as well as getting to know you guys. My favourite activity camp has to offer is knuckleball and Mission Impossible and so many more. So if you come to camp this summer, I promise it will be your highlight of the summer.

Hi there! My name is Swift and I am this summer's Worship Director! This summer, my hope is to provide each camper a fun and immersive experience that focuses on musical worship and the study of scripture. The first time that I have attended camp was at 8 years old and my favourite activity to this day (other than bible study!!!) is waterfront! I also really enjoy rock painting and am super excited to meet all the campers that are planning to come to camp this summer!

My camp name is Violet, and I am so excited to lifeguard alongside Blueberry for my third summer on waterfront! Being surrounded by God’s creation daily at camp is such a blessing, and I’m grateful for this time to serve my community and God.  I also highly encourage devotions on the beach :), something that was a favourite of mine as a camper, next to rock painting.

Hi I’m blueberry and I will be one of the the lifeguards at camp this year. I love hiking, rock climbing and anything outdoors. I’m very excited for this year at camp and looking forward to seeing you there!

My camp name is Alpine, and I’ll be one of the LIT Directors this summer! My favourite camp activities are Mission Impossible and devos on the beach. I’m so excited to help the LITs grow in their faith and leadership skills while having an absolute blast at camp. See you this summer!

Hi everyone, my camp name is Note. I will be one of the Cabin Leaders this summer. My favorite things to do at Camp include Forest Games, singing, and meeting all of you. Hope to see you there.

My name is K-Mart, I’m super excited to be cabin leading at Camp Douglas this summer! My favourite thing about camp has to be forest games and the friends you make while here. Camp is one of my favourite places to spend my summer since I was 8 years old I attended all sessions I could go to. I can’t wait for this summer and to see what it brings.
