What to Expect

Over the course of this 12-night camp, LITs will learn the behind-the-scenes workings of Camp Douglas, and will get the chance to practice a variety of leadership skills in our safe and supportive environment. LITs will get a chance to lead chapel and devotional times, to shadow Camp Douglas cabin leaders and program staff in their day-to-day duties and to carry out a community service project to give back to our local area.

This camp is truly a 'Leadership training' program, and is distinct from our other camps. LITs are coached, encouraged and trusted with responsibilities in our signature relational Camp Douglas style.
