We are located on a beautiful ten-acre site in Roberts Creek, between Gibsons and Sechelt on the Sunshine Coast. The property includes both a private waterfront and a large patch of West Coast rainforest.
Facilities include six cabins, each accommodating nine campers and two leaders, a modern lodge, a full kitchen and spacious dining hall, a first-aid cabin, a craft cabin, two playing fields, two fire pits, and a gorgeous outdoor chapel.
Camp Douglas is owned, supported, and operated by the Presbytery of Westminster of The Presbyterian Church in Canada, with assistance from the Synod of British Columbia and many other supporters.
The Experience
Summer camp is a fantastic place for children to gain experience and confidence. Camp Douglas provides a challenging and safe program in a Christ-centred environment helping to foster an appreciation for God’s creation and to equip Christian leaders for the future. Camp Douglas has well-trained, dedicated, and faithful staff members as well as exceptional Leader-in-Training programs as seen in our camps section.
The Facilities
Camp Facilities are available for rental in the off-season from September to June. We are an ideal location for retreats, meetings, seminars, and get-togethers for groups of up to 90 people.
