Youth Night · Tomorrow! · 7-9PM
Tomorrow evening, at Richmond Presbyterian Church, we will be holding our first Camp Douglas Youth Night! We will be holding three Youth Nights in total between now and next summer, and the format will be based on a typical evening at camp. We’ll have a campfire talk, a snack, and play indoor versions of our favourite forest games, like MI. It's going to be so much fun! Please spread the word to anyone you know in Grades 6-12. Support our camperships by joining the 1-200 Challenge
This fall, we are excited to launch the 1-200 Challenge in support of our general fund, to continue to remove financial barriers for children and young people to experience the summer ministry at Camp Douglas. This year, 1 in 3 of our campers received full or partial sponsorship from us, and we provided employment and volunteer opportunities to 28 young adults aged 17-25. We love that we get to invest in young people in this way - giving young adults a safe supportive training ground to develop their children's ministry skills, and making sure that every one of our campers goes home having been told that Jesus loves them. To help us keep growing our ministry, we would like to invite you to join our 1-200 Challenge! Here’s how it works: We have 200 numbers, from 1 to 200, and we’re asking supporters to "adopt" one of these numbers by donating that amount. Choose any number still available—whether it’s $1, $50, or $200—every donation brings us closer to our $20,000 goal. If every number gets adopted, that will cover the costs of every camper we sponsored in 2024! For more infomation visit: https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/camp-douglas/campaign/200Challenge/

Enjoy some Camp Community throughout the year, and come along to our YA Meetups! Starting January 2025, we'll meet on the third Monday of each month (taking a break for July, August and September). We'll alternate between in-person social meetups at Katherine "Ginger" Allan's house, and online Bible studies hosted by Meghan "Moogie" Adrian - so even those of you at far-flung universities can join the fun!
